1. Contractual Scope & Architectural Approvals

Welcome to shelvesgroovs.buzz (referred to globally as "the Platform"). By accessing this site, using our real-time interactive Design Studio, or formally commissioning a physical structural audio unit, you are entering a legally binding contractual relationship with Shelves Groovs and agree to be governed fully by these Terms of Service.

Custom commissions require explicit structural confirmation. Before physical construction begins, our layout engineers will send a scaled PDF blueprint. Once signed and returned by the customer, this blueprint acts as the final production template, after which no modifications to physical dimensions or lumber species can be accommodated.

2. Installation Mandates, Structural Integrity, & Weight Liabilities

Physical record storage is fundamentally heavy. One linear foot of tightly packed 12-inch vinyl records can easily exceed 40 pounds. To guarantee safety and prevent structural failures, the following rules apply:

• Stud Mounting Obligation: All floating modular rail systems and wall assemblies must be mounted directly into solid wood studs or concrete blockwork using the commercial anchors provided in our installation packets.
• No Drywall Anchoring: We strictly forbid mounting floating systems into hollow drywall using light expansion anchors. Doing so immediately voids all physical product warranties.
• Exclusion of Liability: Shelves Groovs operates strictly as a premium manufacturer. We do not provide localized installation services. Consequently, Shelves Groovs assumes zero liability for physical property damage, personal injury, structural wall collapse, or destruction of audio gear arising from faulty customer-directed wall mounting or exceeding maximum structural loads.

3. Timber Realities, Grain Variances, & Climate Disclaimers

We work exclusively with raw, sustainable FSC-certified hardwoods (American Walnut, Smoked Oak, and Natural White Ash). Because wood is a natural, dynamic element, the following aesthetic parameters are accepted upon purchase:

• Grain Variations: Every board features unique patterns, structural swirls, and healthy mineral lines. We make no guarantee of uniform patterns across adjacent cabinet surfaces.
• UV Color Maturation: Exposure to indirect sunlight over time will naturally mature wood colors (Walnut mellows and lightens; Ash deepens). This is a mark of authentic timber rather than a design flaw.
• Environmental Expansion: Hardwood breathes in response to extreme humidity or dryness. Units must be kept in stable, climate-controlled spaces. Exposure to severe temperature shifts or direct contact with heaters may cause micro-checking or panel warping, which falls outside of our damage recovery guidelines.

4. Intellectual Rights & Blueprint Security

All industrial blueprints, technical decoupling schematics, mechanical isolator designs, image elements, visual styling, software scripts, and text layouts on shelvesgroovs.buzz are the exclusive property of Shelves Groovs. Unauthorized reproduction, public distribution, or copying of our design vectors for third-party commercial production is strictly prohibited under federal and international design copyright protocols.

5. Arbitration, Jurisdiction, & Local Governance

These terms, along with any transactional custom orders processed on shelvesgroovs.buzz, are governed directly by the laws of the State of Oregon, United States. Any disputes or structural arguments that cannot be resolved through friendly dialogue will be resolved exclusively through private binding arbitration inside Multnomah County, Oregon, rather than general court litigation.
